Summer Sunday in Spring

It's been hot. Near on 10 degrees C hotter than usual. It's been windy, as the heat rises it draws a searing wind across the inner desert into the city and on to the beach. Boardshorter optimists are out in the water but they're not lasting long as the sea hasn't caught up with the atmosphere yet, still hovering at a level that needs a full suit for the less thermic amongst us (like myself). Easy decision to head down to the beach though; sun's out, 2ft swell, offshore wind.

The odd 3-footer sliding through.

Optimists were out in board shorts
