Turned up too late today. The swell had bumped at little to a slightly more respectable level. Still small at 2, very occasionally 3ft. A veritable horde of people out given it's a Sunday and this means nippers; a weekly Sunday ritual of life saver training, sand races, swims, and general outdoor goodness.
Spent 90% of the waves dodging people. Caught a couple that made it worth the while despite a light bump on the surface from a building Easterly wind. This week the SSE swell is back and we get back into the comfortably familiar territory of +4ft swells. A pre-work surf is going to be a must this week.
