Long Waits - Part 2

It was definitely worth the paddle out into what looked like a flat ocean for the infrequent sets that rolled through. The lulls were basically no waves, interspersed by 2.5ft sets. Making it a dry hair paddle out and attracting a lot of traffic as the trainee duck divers had no white water to contend with so were easily out the back.
