Looking Back

Surfing in the UK is tough. Early starts, long drives, you have to be a bit of a mini-weather expert to find those windows of rideable surf, and a bit of a mini-explorer to find spots. But it's this that makes surfing in the UK so great - forget the cold, forget the dark winter months; surfing in locations where you feel like you're the one who discovered it against a backdrop of rising cliffs and rugged coastlines make it all worthwhile.
This video is a small collection taken from years of material filmed between 2002 and 2007 by Big G and Ben. The surf might not be classic, the quality might not be pin sharp (this is from the days of Standard Definition cameras by the way - remember them?), but it's not about that, it's about what surfing in the UK is.
